Look be innovative - do what the NBA did with the TV screens beaming in people watching. I mean you have a capacity of 68'000 - maybe you close off the the upper deck and put up some f-off ginormous LCD screen that wraps the whole bowl. I mean I've been to Tokyo and seen some of the sh$t they do there - that's 100% possible.
Now social distance the remaining 40k seats and drop your capacity to 30k or so. To get into the stadium you need to have your ticket and a little card or something that proves you have aren't sick. I mean again - perspective - Japan has had 250k cases in a nation of 127 million - that's 0.2% or 1 in every 500 people in a jam packed nation, I think we will be fine.
You can have a great games with spectators - it's just the rest of the world who wants to be there might have to compromise this time and sit this one out. Is that really the end of mankind?
