In North America?
My opinion is 3 months best case secnario, seems unlikely right now
6 months would be a miracle.
September, 2021 I may expect to have a vaccine in Canada the way things are looking.
Maybe 1 year from now?
Anywhere from 3-12 months.
When everyone can comply with safety orders...
I had a swearing barrage ready, but when I saw it was your thread..I stopped.
Yes. When people actually listen.

End of thread. The morons are drawing this pandemic out as they are so WEAK and insecure that they can only assert their alleged manhood with a faux rebellion against masks.
Yes absolutely.

The “safety orders” have always been little more than theater...sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Things get back to normal when a vaccine is widely available. The end of this was always herd immunity, by cough or by jab.
BS. We ain't freaking Bison. The Southern way is not the American way. Americans listen. Yeehaw.

There's no plan to go back to normal. "They" are setting the stage for permanent lockdown which will eventually be announced. Stay tuned for a lot of plot twists in the 2021 vaccine salvation narrative.

I thought the virus was going to vanish on November 4th. You are the one changing the narrative. Grow up!

Normal means there are no safety orders with which to comply.
???
We can't just shoot anything when we want.
We can't just spit in food.
We can't just bring a non ADA dog into a store.
We can't just use our phones when a flight is taking off.
We can't eat hot dogs that expired last week.
This. Is. Normal. And. This. Is. Safe.

Yes but his point was that that is a prerequisite on the path to getting there. Hello...

And he's wrong. Coronavirus safety restrictions will go away whenever we collectively decide to remove them.
Rebellion does not determine policy.
South Carolina is still part of the US.
Trump supporters still will see BIDEN in the White House.
Trump will still go broke and have to eat beanie weenies.
Kayleigh will turn 50 before she is 35.
And Jim Jordan will still have been a good collegiate wrestler never to have made the Olympics.
Rebellion. So immature and useless come 1/20/21.
100%?
Three years. If then.
It'll probably be a long time before I'm comfortable shaking someone's hand.

Yes of course. But so will safe speed limits and pollution regulations.

Sounding a lot like what clueless young lefties say about Marxism.
'Marxism has never worked because it was never adhered to strictly enough.'
'Lockdowns haven't worked because itbwas never adhered to strictly enough'.
Both excusing more misery in the face of overwhelming evidence your ideological authoritarian dogmas are just plain wrong.

I live in NYC. EVERYONE wears a mask here. You cannot walk down a street in Brooklyn and pick out a single non-homeless person without a mask. And that's outdoors. Cases are still going up. And NYC had it rip through here in the spring like nowhere else in the US. I'm curious where this non-compliance is occurring and how the case increases there compare to places like NYC and LA and other uber-compliant locales.

I’m concerned that enough people think this way that certain states will never truly return to normal. Normal being: no mask use as before, no restrictions on businesses as before, schools open with no virus-related policies, etc. I think the pressure will be very heavy on politicians to keep certain rules in place for the seasonal flu and what will become seasonal COVID. Rationalism/materialism produces a syndrome where every decision comes down to math and no one could conceive of saving us from the psychic terrorism of indefinite COVID policy because doing so would result in a number of deaths, be they flu or COVID, greater than 0.
