Shows ND's lack of interest in those areas. Clearly this should be two positions. What P5 coach is coaching all these events?
ND wasn't interested in having a full track & field program when they had two sport administrators over the program 5 years ago, one of which, the XC administrator, thinks she's the head coach of the track team. Long gone are the days of ND having a complete track team when Joe and Alan led the program.
Nobody to coach but two multi girls. ND has one male sprinter at the ACC meet and 20 distance runners. Zero jumpers (LJ, HJ and TJ) and one pole vaulter on the men's side. On the women's side, only one sprinter entered at ACC meet (400m - 57.49 and 400H - 1:03.77).
In the 3 years Wayne was there and he is a great jumps coach, they haven't put anything into jumps or sprints. Nothing. No wonder they are terrible in jumps and sprints. Don't expect any quality sprinters or jumpers going to ND anytime soon with the coaching staff and sport administrator.
Whoever lands this job...it will be super easy to do. Heck, hire anyone to do it. Nobody to coach.
