I felt like I read this over a bunch of times and didn't see an event group. How do you know it is Jumps and Mutlis? Thanks.

That’s what I was told as well
Looks like this posting is a formality, barring anything unusual. Five time Olympian Bernard Lagat will be the distance coach at Arizona.
The Arizona director of operations is retiring, so that position will open shortly, if it hasn't already.
Can we get a list of opening positions going, preferably D1 distance jobs.
Boston University - distance
UAB - distance
Robert Morris - distance
UMass- Amherst - Head coach, female?
Navy - Director of Ops, maybe filled??
Georgetown - female, but maybe sprints, maybe filled?
Arizona - Lopez is the hire?

Lopez?
The only way Bernard Lagat isn’t retained as the distance coach at Arizona is if he doesn’t want to deal with recruiting, the non-running BS that comes with coaching at the collegiate level, or wants to spend more time with his two kids (one is in high school).
The Arizona ops position is open after Dawn Boxley announced her retirement.

“Non running BS” at the college level? You mean the full job description of an NCAA coach? You know, the list of responsibilities that define college coaches and set them apart from, say, online running coaches? lol smh
A10 fans: any news on a new distance coach at VCU ??
I agree. There is more to coaching than just hanging out at the track and reading splits. The college gig is so much better than the HS one with the exception of the pay in most cases.
I thought the Black Hills State job was a formality but it sounds like they are conducting interviews. Is Foley moving on or leaving coaching?
Yes, Black Hills State is doing interviews now!

Big name returning to Jayhawk state for throws it would seem
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
