What’s up at North Dakota? They have no coaches listed on their whole staff but they host a meet this weekend…

Didn't she get let go from Oklahoma because all the kids complained about her?
Why don’t u go talk to Coach Bovee line a man. They have been very competitive in the MVC and mid majors are indeed stepping stones to other jobs. Take your hate someplace else.

Sheesh, talk about giving someone a lifeline… this is a better fit though. Oklahoma can have a legitimate distance team even with little money put in it, they just need a solid coach. Jury still out on this new chick

Dunno, but she made some poor recruiting choices and I think that cost her. No biggie. Live and learn.

I know her. She'll help with recruiting Texas and Illinois. So from that alone it is a solid hire. Add in the fact that she is solid for sprints and hurdles, it becomes a good hire. I would have done the same as Waters. More college coaches should consider HS coaches with good reps and connections.
Poor recruiting?? She's just a inexperience Coach. Better at the HS level! I had athlete she tried to recruit. She basically said I had more experience than her and she would like to call me once in awhile for some suggestions! My former athlete didn't end up their and went to another D1 program instead. Her going San Jose State. They must be desperate. There are so many HS coaches around their in the Bay area down to the Santa Cruz area that are a lot better!
UND is currently on the second round of interviews...
Phipps turns down Michigan. Even Ivy schools saying no.

Yeah maybe, but do they check the “boxes”. Let’s keep it a buck.
More than problems. Can't believe she got hired at W&M.
phipps was promoted nearly a month ago, just getting published now, was never in the hunt for UM

I am curious to know what has Marissa Chew done to be deserving of this position? Last year her best jumping athletes would barely score within many lower division conferences.. So I guess its safe to say as long as you moderate two argumentative coaches and create a now defunct collaboration, it means you have the ability to coach high level athletes. This sport needs help.
Yeah pretty sad how these programs are making these hires just to fill a quota. Big problem in our profession. No reason some of these programs stay in the dirt and never have a presence at nationals.
