Jermaine Jones may be the luckiest horrible coach in the NCAA. He will be at Ohio State 2-3 years. After 2 years they will realize he is terrible and he will get fired in the 3rd. Do any of these head coaches do background checks?

Kurt Henry getting hired at Texas A&M is a great hire. Excellent young coach who works very hard.

As usual, a lot of haters on Letsrun.
Jermaine Jones had Big Ten Champion throwers and All-Americans while at Purdue and Indiana.
He inherited them and broke them and destroyed every team he’s been a part of since 2010
Why does he keep moving every two years?

How did the break them and they still won the Big Ten and were All-Americans? At two different schools. He was at Indiana for quite some time, so those were his kids. At Purdue for what, 3 or 4 years.
Sounds like jealousy to me.

Sounds like you are covering for him.
He moves often, why?
I heard from some previous athletes at one of his prior stops that he would not show up for practice on a regular basis, just text one of them and tell them he couldn't make it, go lift. Recruiting was too much work for him, probably why he keeps moving, inherit some athletes and once they start to leave he leaves because he doesn't bring anyone in. Nice little game.

Does anyone actually read those long paragraphs about race and gender? Or do you just skip them like I do?
Depends. I know if I read them I'll want to get involved so I try to avoid it.
By the way, I don't think this is a true rumor that was posted but I think Houlihan would be a good person for the UCSB job.

Is he taking over the head coaching position or just being added as an assistant? Who's leaving?

With actual resources and coaches who want to invest in the distance team, I'd say she'll find success there. Anyway, just sending some positive vibes, not looking to get into an argument over this.
