Sheldon Blockburger is returning to USC.
Well, that explains why his kids Johnnie and Alyssa announced their transfer from Arizona to USC yesterday.
Does anyone know what is happening at Ohio University? The job posted early June. They've announced new Golf, Baseball, Volleyball and Football coaches in the past few weeks. With XC season about three weeks away, I assume they have hired someone and just haven't announced it yet.
Anyone have any info?
I am thinking Ricardo got the Purdue job.
Norbert is an islander.
His entire staff is former head coaches
Looking for young and less experienced but somebody who can still have some results.
Fits the M.O.
Offered to many unqualified ladies and will continue to do so. The one who accepts will be terrible.

Vanderbilt just posted for a Volunteer XC and Distance Assistant Coach
Seems odd. If they are hiring a full time xc/distance coach, wouldn't they want that coach involved in who they bring in as a volunteer assistant? They wouldn't just hand the whole distance and xc to a volunteer, would they?
They have already hired a full time distance coach. Young white guy, not much experience. Wait for the announcement soon.
Ryan Waite from Delaware?
guess who? wrote:

Waite would be the holy grail, but it’s not him.

If I already lived in Baltimore that would be one thing. This is essentially getting a grad assistant stipend.

Im not surprised, feels more and more distance coaches need assistants to compete in their. I'm not a fan of it but when Lowell, Stony Brook, Binghamton etc... have younger assistant to help recruit..... i mean look how well they have done the last few years. Not sure about the rest of the conference in who has what but seems like in order to compete UMBC believes they at least need someone extra to help on the distance side.
Any news on Michigan State, Purdue, or Florida state ?
Has Minnesota started doing interviews?
