Just in case anyone didn't already know, the quoted statements are completely full of shit.
NYC has *not* reached herd immunity. A couple months back people were speculating that the communities of Haredim might have reached it--but they had not, and are now back under restrictive measures that (surprise, surprise) are resulting in fewer cases and a lower positivity rate.
And if this poster, or anyone else, can come up with a valid source (so not a blog or YouTube video, etc.) that affirms "2/3 [of] New Yorkers likely already have immunity to it," I will donate $100 to the charity of his/her choice.
I'm not worried about losing my money.
