Other than marielle hall there isn't single non-white american distance runner good enough to warrant a sponsorship.

Running isn’t just one event. Everyone here is talking as if distance is the only competition that matters.
The ADP guys don’t look too white to me.

2 of the runners that made the American Tokyo Olympic women’s marathon team are non-white. Good enough. But not prominent enough.

Should Nike sponsor 5 to 1 white sprinters to be representative of the population? They somehow are able to get away with a ratio that is 5 to 1 black to white which is 25 times of what it should be.

White girls complaining about lack of sponsors

White women wrap themselves in the "woke" banner to dominate the Virtue Signal Corps.
This is fair and I'm pretty sure they have had POC signed to sponsorship in the recent past, maybe Duane Solomon? Regardless, it's easy to imagine that Saucony's marketing team (which sponsorship is part and parcel of at any sponsoring company or organization) probably does in fact have a directive to appeal to white, middle class demographic and spends their budget thusly. You could say the same of New Balance or Brooks, to be honest. Even on the male side of things, the faces of the brand are Jared Ward, Parker Stinson, Tim Ritchie, Noah Droddy. Saucony probably is the whitest brand in running, snatching that title from New Balance. Just look at these pages and it's pretty easy to see:
https://www.saucony.com/en/blog?url=%2F/saucony_us/category/athletes/https://www.saucony.com/en/our-team/Do they even have POC represented at the corporate level? It's like the silly assumption that Hillary Clinton can adequately represent the true best interests of POC simply because she's not a guy. Is it some big secret that white, middle class Americans tend to be inherently racist and primarily look to their own as role models and voices they trust? Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly, but I think I've seen studies that support that conclusion. I'll say it's true in my own, anecdotal observations.
How do you know? Did you ask them. I saw Tiger Woods almost punch a reporter once for calling him black.
So true. Molly has done more through her podcast and platform to try to promote poc in distance running than any of the naysayers on her instagram probably ever have.
