people are scared. When they are scared, they don't think they act on emotion. It's not rocket science.
I mean, we still have people debating whether the earth is round. The fact that dum-dums haven't caught on doesn't make the earth flat.
did u think projections of 200k deaths was alarmist? that was the median projection back in March....the ones all the MA GA idiots called alarmist.
Did u think that was alarmist? most likely
are u too chickn sht to answer this? yes
Nope...because the hype and scare tactics from the left said 2.2 million dead Americans by years’ end.
Dude it's a serious pandemic that is killing approximately 35000 more Americans then usual every month
The reasonable thing is to figure out what basic precautions people can take and try to advocate for them
You always set up this straw man and then rage against it with imagined righteous indignation
But the bottom line is by doing simple things like wearing masks and avoiding unnecessary chance to spread disease we could seriously save a lot of lives
Think about all the precautions we take for automobile safety and Transportation safety. Cars kill roughly 35,000 people a year
This is killing 35,000 people a month. Wouldn't it be reasonable to take precautions and do everything we can to save lives
No one's saying it's a raging pandemic but it's a serious health issue
So stop being a complete lunatic and just Advocate that people use basic common sense wear a mask and take basic precautions
I live in New York and things gotten a lot better and no one's acting like it's a raging pandemic. But everyone wears a mask when in an indoor environments, or better said in indoor public environment. Anyway things have gotten a lot better and hopefully we'll have a good vaccine soon and we're showing that science and evidence based reasoning is the way
You can't figure out that something that has either killed or seriously injured half a million Americans is a big deal and needs to be taken seriously.
Because Democrats = Science and if you aren’t a Democrat you’re against Science..

What a logical and well thought out argument.
That's exactly what I tell the round-earthers. If the earth was round, why the controversy and even conferences supporting the flat earth. My logical argument always always leaves them speechless and they walk away.
Well done, you've clearly put a lot of thought into that.
It occurred to me that maybe you should try pointing your potential dates to these thread you create. I'm sure your luck will turn around in no time

Somebody the other day posted here that Jamin was a pleasant individual to be around that some people actually liked. However, some other people said he was an anti social jerk. The fact that after all of these years there is a debate automatically disproves the theory that he is a nice guy capable of being liked by anybody.
The poster of these threads reminds me of the many people who blindly follow religion
Let's face it the poster of these threads has taking on this conspiratorial mindset and he religiously posts ridiculous points of view periodically and makes no attempt to amend his point of view to the obvious evidence and facts
It's just like the billions of religious people who are either actively or complicit in spreading ancient fairy tales that clearly have no relationship to Reality
Why would people think that ancient fairy tales from a thousand years ago two thousand years ago three thousand years ago that have clearly been shown to be wrong in relationship to new scientific discoveries have any Merit or legitimacy
But it just goes to show that people are not rational creatures who do a good job of assessing opportunity versus threat
Rather people are Wishful thinkers and imaginative hyperbolic creators who live in a psychological world that often times has very little relationship to the fundamental realities of nature
But reality will impose its will, whether we like it or not, and we will eventually adjust and become better related to Natural imperatives

The above is why I will NEVER pay them Brojos to become a part of their club. The Brojos permit this moron Jamin to post falsehoods which result in egregious loss of life. Jamin doesn’t care because he is a sociopath. The Brojos may or may not be sociopaths but they are complicit in permitting the sociopath Jamin to post his terroristic threads, and by terroristic I mean Jamin willfully spreads falsehoods knowing they result in people dying.

It's not just that. They want to be scared. It's like a drug to them.
Look at all the replies. See how they squirm, clinging stubbornly to all the falsified data they've been fed like it means anything. Getting mad. A contrary idea ruined their day!
It used to be a manageable enough pastime: TV and newspaper disaster news, horror movies. People could get their fix of fear without turning destructive about it with obsessive group behavior. The internet has changed that.
Look how mad they'll get at me. They WANT to get mad. They'll act like they're amused, but what they really want is a fight. Mentally ill, very.

How did you come up with that number? The most objective way is to look at Deaths from All Causes between 2019 and 2020 and adjust for population size.
A virus so deadly they had to get A-list hollywood celebrities to promote it. None of them died, even good ol' forrest gump who's 64. Then 71 year old prince charles gets it and recovers within a week. Just as the panic was dying down and people starting relaxing BOOM the rock and his entire family gets it. No deaths too. A virus so deadly it only kills poor, nameless, racist mask deniers.

Most people survive the virus so the fact that you can name some people who survived it means NOTHING. Part of the problem for the very intelligent among us, is that we are brought down to some extent by the stupid masses, such as yourself, Jamin and Wigins.

But there's also people who are about as scared of this virus as they are as scared of a fly. These are people getting sweet unemployment benefits & perks, and those for the first time in their life get to work from home (think of the teachers who would rather "teach" from home on any given day regardless of any pandemics). A lot of these people are going to promote the fearmongering as much as possible to keep the gravy benefits coming in and to continue to work from the comfort of home.
I have an acquaintance who I met years ago out on the running trails. We run on the same schedule and see each other several times a month. He was able to work from home when everything went crazy with the lockdowns last spring. He tells me how sweet it is not having to get up early and commute for a long drive downtown, he brags about the money he's saved on gas & maintenance and glees about the extra time he has for training now that he doesn't have to waste an hour and a half commuting to work. With a wink & smirk, ? he tells me how "scared" he is of the virus and couldn't bear the thought of having to return to work where he couid easily get infected. Lol.

I dont think he is a sociopath. I do think he is sad and lonely and finds comfort in feeling different and enlightened by espousing trump's nonsense. I dont think he is actually fully aware of those things. Sociopath implies zero empathy. I think Jamin feels some empathy, but it is usually overridden by his pain.
Now that's telling it like it is wrote:

Being able to save some money is a good thing, many people have hours cut and have new medical expenses they need to cover for. Not commuting is also a good thing, spend more time with the family, run more. It's perfectly normal to prefer working from home, if you can do your job, that doesn't take away from the potential dangers of contracting the virus in a crowded factory or office.
Is the whole point of your story the significance of what you thought was a wink?
A virus so deadly you have to be "very intelligent" to fear it. Why aren't people all around the world dropping dead in the streets? What about homeless clusters in third world countries? Forget it. This plandemic is dead in its tracks. Good luck convincing everyone they should be terrified. Better luck next time. Or like billy gates said, "the next one is sure to get our attention, *snickers*".
