Did anybody actually get sick? Or is it like the 90% of positive tests that detect a virus that is not contagious?

Oh please. Seriously? 260,000 positives all over the country from Sturgis? Then in the same article they try to claim no cases or spikes from all the protests and riots that have been going on all over the country. Seems anyone who can think rationally can see this is extremely unlikely... but again, it fits the media and liberal narrative.

I assume, from the same folks that "estimated" 2.2 million deaths. You can plug in aggressive inputs and get the outputs you desire. This is just more speculation, not grounded in good data.

Another group just claimed the Public Healthcare cost is going to be $12 billion due to the rally. Or $26,000 per attendee. Absolute stupidity. The rally made no noticeable impact on the cases nationwide. Oh my god, South Dakota has a lot more cases but no uptick in deaths, stop the world!!! The virus has already spread so far in this country there is no national uptick due to the rally. They're trying to make this out as a crisis as 1 of the 460K people who attended has died of Covid. I like those odds, I think I'd risk Sturgis for those odds. The loss to the community of losing a year's worth of vital revenue from the event would have been far worse.
Yep. Now just waiting for the COVID hysterics, everyone should wear a mask believer, and keep everything shut down people to come out and try to justify these ridiculous claims.

News to me that South Dakota has seceded.
Besides, you should skim the report. The national result is that counties that sent a lot of people to Sturgis have more cases than those that didn't. It an interesting analysis.
I've known a couple dozen people who have died in motorcycle crashes pretty recently. I haven't known anyone who has died of COVID. Motorcycle riders have pretty short life expectancies anyhow. One would not expect them to take COVID too seriously. I'm guessing South Dakota was probably more concerned with the large quantities of drugs running through their town than they were people wearing masks.

Hopefully it'll be spread to plenty of biker MAGAts, which will make the country just a little bit better every time one of them drops dead.
COVID, God's way of culling MAGAts who are too arrogant and stupid to know better.
Wait...460,000 participants linked to 260 cases...and one death?!
And in Sturgis itself - what must be GROUND ZERO of this super-superspreader event - during the entirety of Covid 19 there has been a grand total of one death from Covid!
lol.

Wait let me get this straight—you know of at least 24 people who have died...specifically from motorcycle crashes...pretty recently?
