I guess it depends on what you count as "running," brah. I think someone in free fall has probably covered a mile's distance without the use of any thing but his own body in perhaps 20 seconds, I don't know, how fast do those guys go?

joseph kittinger free-fell at nearly 700 mph during the 60s. this puts his mile time at around 5 seconds, i believe.

Well, here, the POSE method would definitely help, or anyone who believes gravity assists in running.

hahaha, that's gotta be one of the greatest survival stories ever. 33,330 ft. is a long way to fall, let alone smack onto the ground
I am surprised that I read that many posts and not one person said that they ran in place while on a plane for one mile. You know, like all the other great jokes in this thread. I mean, I can't stop laughing, how do you think of falling a mile?? I mean, that is like genius or something.~sarcasm~

Here is the actual record:
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/maniacs-stand-out-a-mile-1251620.html
3:24 Craig Wheeler
He was a good runner 8:34 for the steeplechase, then got injured
The other miles were just downhill. This is run down a steep hill. They also had a reverse one the 'Murder Mile'
You spelled Common Sense wrong, you spelled it Common Sence XD
"Falling slow" would insinuate that the theory of relativity is not accurate. Which, relativity, cannot be true.
IT HAS BEEN SIX YEARS!!! NOBODY HAS POSTED ON THIS THREAD FOR SIX YEARS!!! WHY DID YOU REVIVE IT???
