In England, half the country hate foreigners so much they voted to torpedo our economy and future by voting for Brexit. Even years later with absolutely no benefit to it being clear, the support for it is still about 50% so England is basically half stupid and racist as f.

Eh, I wouldn't go as far as to say that about brexit voters.
At the end of the day, the average voter is VERY under-informed (myself included), and when you give people the prospect of "change", versus "remain the same", people will tend to the more exciting option.
There are more issues, but the main one (in my experience anyway) was the strong sentiment that Britain was getting the short end of the stick being in the EU, and whether that is warranted or not, I do not know. The brexit campaign also did a good job of painting the EU leadership as a group of euro bureaucrats holed up in Brussels making life harder for everyone, and whether this is totally false I cannot judge, but definitely did not help the public perception of the EU.
I still believe brexit was a retarded decision but I understand why people voted for it.

But not for long.
In the UK, an inter-racial couple is still a big deal.

Just as a reference (not sure how accurate this is):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_abolition_of_slavery_and_serfdom#/media/File:Slavery_abolition.svgI would be interested to see info how how long slavery lasted (start to finish) relative to how young the country is. Obviously that starting info is hard to get a handle on, but I'm willing to bet many of the Western countries had slavery >500 years before it was abolished.
An odd angle and not even one you can verify.
Surely recent history if far more telling and relevant today.
At least according to these data, the US is among the least racist countries on Earth.
The "melting pot" analogy is now considered racist. We're supposed to be a garden salad or something like that now...in one place side-by-side, but remaining distinct and different.
Times are weird.
While I do live in the US, I am very familiar with many different cultures. In many countries, (China, India, African countries) if you are part of the minority culture (your tribal language is not the language of the majority culture) you will likely not have the same opportunities (discriminated against) for things like education. At least in the USA everyone gets a "free" education through at least 12th grade. While it is possibly not
technically "racism," it is under the larger umbrella of discrimination.
I find this funny. The "brown" (latino based) people here on USA side of border like to partner up with black people that they are oppressed minorities. Most the brown people barely speak spanish. If anything they turned more white. Now I cross the other side of the border, the brown people do not partner up. They do not like hatian immigrants who are very dark skinned.
I also lived in netherlands, where they do not like morrocans who were brought in many years ago as immigrants to take simple manual labor jobs.
The answer to your question is "real". Unlike this fake u.s. Sh!t

I've actually found non-whites to be much more openly racist towards blacks if they live in areas where they actually deal with blacks on any kind of regular basis. I think there is much less of a stigma for a Latino or even Asian to make candid observations or judgments about blacks than if a white person did it. I've even known people who were half black who openly made disparaging remarks about "fully" black people... One could argue this is internalized racism or whatever, but it might be worth considering that pretty much everywhere around the world and throughout history, being lighter skinned has been viewed as an intrinsically positive thing, whether it's in the Americas, the Caribbean, South Africa, Europe, India, East Asia, etc. Perhaps it's not a coincidence that all the most advanced civilizations in the world were created by light-skinned people. Even Singapore, arguably the most advanced city in the world, was started by ethnic Chinese who had migrated to Indonesia. Then look at the civilizations started by darker-skinned people... I realize it's not as cut and dry as that, but there is clearly something going on when the pattern is worldwide and constant throughout history.
You mentioned it in your post, but South Africa is pretty bad. It’s not so much racism there, more like a race war. The hate there is definitely a two way street, with both sides having legitimate claims to the land. Unfortunately, these days a legitimate claim from a white person isn’t worth as much as a legitimate claim from a black person. I have personally witnessed my significant others family be pressured by the government to give up their cane sugar farm in order for it to be cut up into parcels on which to build shanty towns. Their farm is one of the last standing, when I was there last I could see the shacks being built out in the distance, on the land of a farmer who once shared their border. There is no lack of space in that country. They could build somewhere else, and they are actively choosing not to.
Anti white sentiment in south Africa, a lot of racism toward africans in China.
As a mixed race person myself I think it's all just a matter of time before what we call race now doesn't exist any more. I'm sure there will be other ways people manage to divide themselves but skin color, which is a function of latitude, just won't be a thing any more. I mean even if you are the most racist dude on earth, your sister/brother/son/daughter/whatever is guaranteed to hook up with somebody of a "race" or political group or sexual preference you don't like. That's just the irony of life.
There is a lot of racism towards First Nations in Canada. We are really good at pretending it doesn't exist.
We pushed them off their land to reservers, and pretty much starved them into genocide.
Then we decided we didn't like that, so we kidnapped them and put them into "residential schools." Kids were beaten, raped, abused in all sorts of awful ways. The last one closed in 1994.
On top of that, we had the 60's scoop. We kidnapped them (again, we just loved that) and put them into white people's homes as an adopted child. It didn't work. Left a legacy of maladjusted people.
Now white people yell at them for riding their bikes the wrong way on one ways, being drunk/stoned/blitzed in public. They've formed gangs in the past 20 years based on the ones in the USA. Most treat them like crap. They get all sorts of special advantages from the government (slots for free university), etc.
Now we have fostered a culture of dependency with them. They whine to the government to fix up their reserves. It's an endless money pit. We still have "The Indian Act" that enforces the treaty between Canada and the FNIM people. We have essentially a 2-class system because of that document. And no one in Canada wants to admit we will always have racism unless we get rid of the reserve system and the Indian Act.
But at least we don't have race wars I guess. Just don't go to a reserve. Teenagers walking around with rifles. Your stuff will get stolen. So many trades people go once and never go back.
Yeah. It's a mess.
"is there a nation with a diverse population where there is no racism, "
America is the "melting pot". I know of no other such racially diverse country.

It would be beyond naive to think that attitudes changed entirely.
Today we see many Americans throwing a hissy fit because statues honoring racist confederate generals have been removed.

Toronto is the most racially diverse city in the world.
The US is less racist than any other country in the world.
