I'm as big of a Derrick fan as anyone, as we ran against each other in high school frequently and I always admired him, but he could never have run 50.0 -- his senior year when he ran 13:55, he would've been lucky to break 2:00 in an 800. I can't recall if he ever did in a relay or something, but I'd be surprised.
