No. Because I never just randomly stop eating meat and eggs. What made you decide to do so?
It is almost as if foods with the highest true nutrient density aid in recovery and metabolic health!

* Get tired of having to scrub chunks of eggs out of the pan after making scrambled eggs in the morning
* Meat is expensive and also makes a mess to cook
Tonight I had a big bowl of oatmeal with half a jar of peanut butter (seriously) but I feel like I need to run to the grocery store to get a steak or something ...

You need to use butter in the frying pan to make them release completely cleanly. Also buy a barbecue for meat.
Maybe, but maybe you’re just missing the comfort of your dead flesh and chicken periods
I've noticed I don't train as well if I don't get adequate protein. Meat is an easy way to do this.

okay, bub. the game plan is max gain for the least pain.
do like i do.
First, buy up a bulk load (i suggest costco, and they can even deliver) of canned chicken - the kirkland bland actually tastes good, it's already cooked, all you do is open the can and eat. It never spoils in the can, so how can you go wrong?
Same idea with canned sardines. These things are loaded with protein and antioxidants and other good stuff.
For eggs, i have tried everything and the simplest is either of these two methods:
1) whip up a few in a bowl and microwave them. just takes a couple of minutes and taste good if you add a little tomato and maybe some soy sauce, for example. Make about three times what you will eat in one sitting, and save it in a glass dish for the next few days. or
2) hard boil about a half dozen or so at a time and eat one a day. can't get much simpler than that. There['s ricks to keep the shell from sticking to the egg, too.
ANd last, that occassional can of tuna hits the spot, though be careful of loading up on heavy metals if you eat it to often. Canned salmon for the same effect.
It's a good idea to keep about a quart of cooked quinoa and a quart of beans chilled in the fridge to mix with this stuff if you want, along with some healthy vegies. ANd you can always just throw them on a whole wheat slice of bread.
Not so tough.

Are you sure you feel tired because you missed meat for 2 days? Because it seems more likely the half a jar of peanut butter, that's like 10,000 calories from fat. It would make me feel pretty lethargic.
Do you have a bbq? That's a pretty low mess way to cook meat, if this really is an issue for you. Eggs can be cooked in the microwave. Get a microwave safe bowl, put a splash of water in, crack in your eggs, and put saran wrap over. A minute or so is all it takes. Doesnt taste as good as in the pan, but you wont have to clean the pan. You can also make hardboiled eggs, that has zero mess.
I think you mean eggs and meat. Possibly you could eat them here or there. Maybe color them to match a certain nearby lake. Perhaps the meat could be a pork product.
I'm confused about your diet, If you think your body in withdrawal phase then how you planned your diet for cooping such condition.
Your "training"? You're a hobby runner, who happens to be toward the faster end of the broad spectrum known as "mediocre".
Why don't you try getting over yourself?
Jamin you must try the DANCAN - GREASY PAN system.
I guarantee you will be faster , not fatter ...)))

Jamin, you need to (1) get a good frying pan and (2) learn how to cook with it. There are lots of videos on YouTube about cooking meat and eggs. When my wife began to lose her ability to cook, I had to learn how to cook my own meals. One of the first things I did was toss our old pots and pans and buy news ones, as everything stuck on our old pans. As a bachelor, you don't need a lot of pots and pans. I'd suggest that you start with the Granite Stone Diamond brand. Some would argue with my choice; I'd welcome comments as I'm a bit of a novice, too. Stay away from the PFOA and Teflon pans. Stainless steel is the best, but the learning curve on how to cook with it properly is higher for some people, i.e., the person who has no patience to learn a new skill.
Next, you need to use the right oil. I'd suggest organic cow butter, but Aldi's cheap brand seems to work just as well for cooking. It's a myth that all oils are bad for you. Butter, olive oil, avocado oil, and a few others are both good for you and good for cooking with high heat, but all will leave a flavor on what's cooked so you need to decide what flavor you like. Butter is a great choice for eggs.
Next, get a small, outdoor propane BBQ grill for hamburgers and chicken. If you want steak, cooking steak is an art and takes a lot of preparation to do properly.
Is this a euphemism for your sexual preferences?

You're very likely a poor convertor of methyl-folate and cobalamin (B12) into methyl-cobalamin (active B12) - that's to say you have poor methylation function. Other telltale signs are proneness to overtraining, infections, etc. It isn't the methylcobalamin per se but adenosylcobalamin, which is the B12 the muscles use. I don't eat meat (though I do ear fish and eggs), and I take a 1/4 sublingual tab of methyl B12 (see iherb) each night. You'll know if you're low because between 1-3 days after you might notice muscle twitching, neck tension, strong pulse or any other low potassium symptoms. I take 250mg (up to 1g / day if needed) and it goes. Another strategy is to take adenosylcobalamin instead. You can take it got a week and then keep it topped up a few times per week. But don't take both active forms together because they compete for absorption.
It goes without saying that red meat and eggs are also a source of creatine.
Eat meat and eggs.
You're welcome.

Your pan isn't hot enough yet if your eggs make a mess and stick to the bottom and especially the sides.
Turn pan on and leave it on for a minute or so before putting eggs in. If eggs go into pan before the pan is up to temp, they will adhere to the pan and make a mess.
....After getting pan to high temp and putting eggs in, then reduce heat as to not overcook the eggs or cook them too quickly.
Also, butter is best for eggs taste wise and has less splatter from the pan compared to oils.
