Don't take your ability to run for granted. Treasure it every day. (I've been unable to run since I was 20 and that sucks, even decades later.)
OTOH the ED guy must have been speaking for himself. I'm pushing 70 and no problems.

+1. And hooking up in general. The quality of women willing to hook up goes way down as you age. In you’re 40’s it’s tough. Find a girl with not a lot of baggage and good parents and give marriage a go. Do not underestimate the impact your in laws will have on your life. If you’re girl has crazy in laws, walk away. If you’re lucky you’ll still be gettin it on well into your 40’s, but don’t count on it.
Yeah, sex and more sex. Apparently young people aren't having sex as much. What a waste. College girls are the best.
Also, 40 isn't a bad age. If you take reasonably good care of yourself and have a good job/career, you can be very secure at 40 and enjoying fine things with little stress. I don't think I'd want to be under 30 again. Maybe 35 is the ideal age. Physically I couldn't run the way I wanted anymore at 38.
Also, men, don't take your hair for granted.
Many responses so far are lame, fairly obvious, and/or disappointing. Maybe I've already mostly maxed out on life wisdom at age 30?

Umm your odds probably actually increase...Sugar Daddy sites are the rage.

Enjoy your health and freedom by travelling and not getting married before the age of 30 at the absolute youngest and DO NOT have kids unless you really really really want to be a parent.
And you know how you can get drunk during the week and be fine for work the next morning? Yeah don’t expect that to last too much longer.
Most people in their 50's who never had kids regret it because of the loneliness...Ultimately, the only people who will visit you regularly in your 50's and beyond are your kids...no one else will visit you with the same regularity. If you're a guy the good thing is you have nearly unlimited time to procreate. I know a number of guys who had their first kids in their 40's and some still in their 50's who are fathering again.
If you're a woman, unfortunately you only have up until 40 for a solid chance at fertility without relying on expensive fertaility treatments...basically, if you're of average to slightly above average means, you have a small window of time to have a kid.

Genetics come into play IMMENSELY once you reach your 40's. That's when your DNA blueprint for disaster, if it exists in your family tree, will start to manifest itself for most people. We're talking cancer and every other terror of physical health. It's scary...you can be a hotshot runner in your 20's and 30's, and suddenly your DNA mutations start to come into play and you're battling terminal cancer.
40's are the beginning of the nightmare for some. If you're lucky to have older relatives who regularly lived into the 80's and beyond, you might be spared. But hell there's not much fun in living into your 80's, 90's anyway...we're talking decades of living life when most of your close friends have already died....where you have no clue what the young generation is talking about...etc...just imagine trying to explain social media to your 80+ yr old relatives, showing them how to use a smartphone, etc....that is what you'll be like, completely clueless about the new technologies....It'll be weird just living decades being much older than everyone else with such a dwindling peer group.

That's a good point. Knee replacements become an issue for a lot of older people, which basically eliminates their ability to RUN for the remainder of their lives. Assuming a full knee replacement. Knees, hips, etc joint replacements can become a major issue.
For that reason, I'd definitely suggest limiting the number of high impact activities you do. Run in proper shoes with proper conditioning...Do anything to reduce impact forces...once your knees are gone they're gone forever...
You can take up cycling but it takes 2 to 3 times the time commitment as running to get a similar cardio benefit. Unless you live in an area with a lot of hills, mountains.

Sure you have.
I liked that one about stealing stuff off of roofs and trashing stuff.
What were you expecting, some hot stock tips? HA HA HA HA.
Ability to stay hydrated is another thing....You can get away with not drinking the recommended daily amount of water when you're younger but as you get older, skin gets thinner and water loss occurs quicker. So you'll have to drink a lot more.
Disclaimer: I'm not 40 yet but am early 30's and I can see the writing on the wall and from talking to people older thans me regularly.
Another one.
Dudes, go to Europe or South America for a summer after college or before you start your first real job. Sometime in your 20s. There are scads of hot chicks in these places, both who live there, and who are traveling themselves. They're very much more attractive than your typical 20-something American woman. I travel a lot. I see pack after pack of hot travel chicks and hardly any guys. Do young men not want to travel? The odds are very much stacked in your favor, my friends. Get to it.
At least I added something constructive douchebag.
absolutely.
And i don't know quite how to say this, but don't take for granted how much better the music was from my times. There's a really bid difference, sorry to say.
And you can just ignore all that nonsense about loud music and hearing loss. You're going to lose it anyway, so get yourself some rockin' earbuds, good speakers, etc., and discover our music. It's sublime.

Yeah...they want to take your money, or set you up so their men can take your money...whenever there are hot chicks, there are probably warlords or drug lords or other warriors nearby. And the chicks may be hot because they live in areas where people are more active and eat healthier, but guess what? Their men are just as strong and fit...and your chances of winning a fight against a hardened Colombian or Brazilian tough is slim to none....They workout all day in South America, especially Brazil, and grappling is like second nature to them.
In Thailand, with the hot chicks you have to also worry about their men who know Muay Thai and grew up fighting without guns...they know several ways to kill you, brutal ways.
Countries with very hot women typically have tough dangerous men to contend with...it's not a free for all....Unless you go to brothels....But for average hot chicks in the countryside, beware, they likely have men who will brutally kill you or rob you with a machete.

You'll always have to deal with very dangerous tough men in countries known for hot women...so be careful...Think about it...they've had centuries of fighting among each other for those same hot women...only the toughest men survived and those genes were passed down. The competition is insane when you have women that hot.
no, you didn't. it's good to think you really lived, spreading that kind of widsom.
Okay little man. Enjoy being ‘woke’ and unsuccessful and slow.
No reason to further respond to you. I’m surprised mommy hasn’t told you it’s bedtime.

Remember the famous quote by Mark Twain. (Paraphrased)
When I was 14 I couldn’t believe how dumb my parents were. When I was 20, I was amazed at how smart my parents had become.
If you think this is some kind of "generalizable" lesson, then I have to wonder what kind of life experience you have had in your 57 years.
