I happen to believe her doping was accidental. Humans are not machines, they make mistakes.
Both FIS and WADA agreed by the way.
Accidental or not though, she broke the rules and served a well deserved suspension (on the hard side of what's normal for similar offences as other nations in FIS desperately wanted her to miss out on the last olympics and got their will) . I've got no issues with that.
Regardless: She's missed out of the last olympics (and probably 3-4 gold medals there) and there will always be the asterix of that doping sentence when you look at her career. That's just how it is. History doesn't really distinguish between accidental doping or not.
That said. She ran 32:20 last year opening waaaay to hard and having had 0 track sessions in advance. This year she supposedly has had a whopping 4 track sessions and runs 31:40.
All of this when she is not a runner her form is just terrible), carrying a few pounds of excess muscles and running without spikes. Quite impressive in my book and she must surely be one of the best trained athletes in the world (forever haunted by that asterix).
