runners with that 1:49/3:59 speed seem to usually run in the ballpark of 49-51, so I'll be optimistic and guess he runs no faster than 49 flat but definitely sub 50.

He ran 1:54.9/1:51.9/1:49.9 and 51.74/50.27/?? in his past three seasons. Definitely sub-50.

No more than any other top level runner should be. He has emerged as the #1 performer in an absolutely STACKED year.
Should have run by now, right? What was his time?

I'll say 49 mid. Too bad Ventolin weren't still here. He would probably nail it within 0.2.
I miss that guy. Wonder if he’s:
1) in jail
2) on meds
3) seeking counseling
4) all of the above
This board drove that dude HARD.

Decent speed ! Ingebrigtsen ran 51 when he was in 3:56 mile shape (13:35 tactical 5000m, 8:26 3k steeple, and sub 1:50 800m)
43.5. He has fast twitch. His endurance sucks he only ran a 3:59 mile

I assume this was from a few years ago. 51 all-out would be pathetically slow for a 3:30 1500m runner.
So now we need rabbits for 200m? Give me a break.
I had a high school team mate who ran 4:11 and 1:52. I believe he split 48 on the 4x400.
yes officer this post right here

Nah, he drove the board hard.
But reals: his top moment was predicting that Mo would crush that 1500. Everyone said it was BS but he ended up running 3:28 one of the fastest times ever.
Worst moment: when he argued like mad calling everyone idiots that Iguider's WL 1500 at that shitty track in Marseille (or somewhere like that) was legit when in reality they clearly started from the wrong start line (Steeple start - track used an outside jump). Then he had all the posts deleted and claimed later to never have argued that position.

I literally said "when he was in 3:56 mile shape" so when he was 16

Care to share his PR when he was 12 too? ?
Yeah of course !
4:15 1500m
2:04 800m
1:30 600m
26:99 200m
13:90 100m
8:41 60m
And on hurdles :
9:87 60mH
30:29 200mH

Yeah that was pretty weird. He just kinda ignored 2/3 of your sentence-and-a-half comment.

My favorite moment was when he argued with Nick Willis himself over his 400 speed (he said 49-mid, Willis said he couldn't break 50). Next day a coach in Flagstaff comes back to the thread and says Willis just time trialed a 49.4. Funny as sh!t
