Title says it all itself. Supposedly he's doing a 400m time trial tomorrow morning for his last "race" in his highschool career. Interesting to see how far below 50 he can go. I predict a 48 mid, the kid is a beast.

It’s going to show how solid of a range he has.
He beat some of the top 10 guys in the nation last fall in XC before getting injured.
Interesting. Sub-49 would look great.
This is one of the few benefits of no prep season. It allows talent like Leo to explore their range more fully. Great to see he is capitalizing.
My prediction is 50.5 point at the fastest.

Never mind range, he would probably not have gone sub 4 if he'd been out there doubling or tripling every weekend for two or three months. Too much.
He's going to be 48
We had a 4:05 1:4x guy with a 48 and 47 relay, he can do it too.
Tweaked hamstring, DNF, shuts it down for the season.
I think someone already shared that he recently ran with sprinters in practice and had 49point. Guessing 48high/49low
Handheld? 49.1.

Lol. Yeah - and Nico Young can only run a 56 ?
1:49/3:59 guy... I say 49.2
Sub-49 should be the goal. It would help if he had a rabbit for the first 200m.
Nico's coach said he closed a workout with a 53 earlier this year.
When is he running it?
Nico's coach said that he is a 9 time All American.

Yeah, well Nico's coach did, in fact, win a national team and individual championship in xc and his athlete did, in fact, run 7:56.97 for 3000m (another ran 8:44 3200m) this year.
Well, we know he can break 60. I'm going with 50.1.
9-2=7.
That's like saying you earn $90k per year but when called out on it, your wife jumps in to defend you by saying , "well, he earns $20k so he was partly honest".
I'll say 49 mid. Too bad Ventolin weren't still here. He would probably nail it within 0.2.

His coach won a national team and individual championship in XC as an athlete or a coach?
His team is great and Nico is the best runner in the country. That has nothing to do with lying about your own personal accomplishments. I think predictors point is that his word doesn't mean much. I don't think he was trying to invalidate his coaching accomplishments.
I agree. He is doing a great job with the kids but if he ever tries to move up to college or pro, he will be asked about it in an interview.
