I feel like thats a LITTLE bit of a stretch, I think "Sponsored Athlete" is a little more accurate.
But congrats Nick! Can't wait to see you get ripped again!
I love how everyone is bailing on Nike. Oiselle or whatever, Gymshark (whatever that is), Champion C9 blah.
But the sooner these "influencers" stop saying "Smash That Button" will still be too long. Can social media die already?
That's almost as bad a term as "virtue signaling."
Ew.
Props for body shaming himself at 2:40 Cannot be unseen.
Looking forward to seeing the 30 day body transformation. Might inspire me to replace the bag of Doritos with a bag of carrots.
Symmonds was born for this. Smart, gregarious, well spoken, right amount of humble and hustle, well-produced content... Dude was wasting his talent as a (real) pro Runner.
I am both a lifting and running fan so I am familiar with the brand Gymshark. Immediately after watching Nick's newest video I came here to see what people thought of this partnership. Gymshark is constantly receiving tons of allegations about their athletes being unnatural (using performance-enhancing drugs), and since the topic of who is clean always comes up on these boards, I thought it might be interesting to discus this affiliation. I personally think that Nick is clean but am curious to hear what LRC thinks about it.
For a little background on Gymshark, search for their athletes:
David Laid
Dylan McKenna
Chris Bumstead
Lexx Little
There is always a ton of heat on Gymshark athletes and likely most of them are not clean, but I hope to see Nick transform himself the natural way and not feel pressured to do what other members of his new team are doing

+1
Can you imagine what his career and wealth would look like if he was born 10 years later and had the same level success.
Yeah, Donavan would be knocking him down every day.
Yea, I knew that Nick was always a sales and businessman first, but i'm sad to see that he's stooped this low....Gymshark?! He has truly joined the dark side. Full blown 'natty' fitness influencer status incoming....
Who?

hey nick...another click baiting title...thanks bro
Could need the magic JS?
The success of the 30 day transformation will determine if he loses his natty card or not, as for whether or not he was natural at the time of competing at the highest level, highly unlikely.
Awesome!!! Let's go NICK!!!

I cannot help but notice that in the stands he already looks thinner and more in shape than the image at 2:40 of the video. The beard is probably an attempt to hide the fact that his face is thinner.
I'm a little concerned about the concept behind a 30-day transformation video. By glamorizing rapid and shocking transformation, it sort of goes against the principle of moderation and steady progress. Even if Nick does it right, a shocking 30-day transformation seems like clickbait that could create some disordered habits in those trying to emulate it.
Simply put, I do not think you can ethically post a video like a "30-day transformation" these days. I think this is the opposite of the type of messaging impressionable people need to hear. I'm interested to see how he handles it.
Disclaimer: I don't think nick has to do what I say. Just my two cents
