Anyway yesterday changed my opinion. I initially thought something was off and noticed the odd lack of fatigue and the radical physical transformation. Her odd ability to keep coming back stronger from injury when every other college athlete struggles. The tireless way she raced where every other college athlete paid for big efforts. But the times were not really there and she lost repeatedly, even decisively.
Then she came back this year markedly better. And yesterday she did something that makes zero sense for any clean athlete. And her personality and answers are just not credible.
Now maybe she comes back dead legged today like a natural athlete. But I doubt it. When have we seen it her entire college career? When anabolics first hit public consciousness in the early 70s, they were reported as a mystery drug that eliminated natural fatigue. Seems like a far more likely explanation than "crosstraining". Her times are now clearly in the suspect zone. People can cite Zola Budd, who ran in the legal blood doping era, or others. But the fact remains.
