Hi everyone, I'm a new poster and I know Mike. When we heard an online site was blogging about Mike's potential cheating we decided to do what good friends do, so my wife and I ignored it and continued to be the Rossis friends. Over the summer something happened, which I think is too personal to share online, that led us to rethink our friendship and support. Then a few weeks ago we heard our nephew, who happens to run cross country, discuss this thread with his friend in great detail. He wasn't aware that we knew who he was talking about, but I was a bit saddened by the substance of his comments.
So I decided these past two weeks to read through here myself and see if anything holds true. I'm always cynical of what is posted online since usually no one personally knows anyone else. I found a lot of the comments quite distasteful. However it's now also clear to me that he did cheat, and it seems blatantly. I am not going to attack him here, but thought it would be important to see the full picture before passing judgement on you all as well.
Based on how much time and effort you spent looking into his cheating, I can tell a lot of you really cherish this sport. I admit I don't know anything about running, but I know a lot about character. We were never fond of his antics online, but didn't want to judge him by that. When we heard about the principal letter we just thought that was Mike being Mike. But then when there were rumors he cheated to get into Boston that whole letter situation made my stomach churn. I also do not agree with most things he's posted on Facebook or his Twitter account since then and ultimately I don't think the way he's responded to this issue is reflective of someone with high moral or ethical standards. I want to make it clear that I decided to post this to vent, stick a knife in the issue and move on. Mike doesn't need to know who I am and neither do any of you so don't ask, but if he reads this I hope he rralizes he has not taken the right path and people will distance themselves eventually.
Good news is your attention span isn't exactly up to par with today's pace.
Go screenshotting!
Hey Rossi I can't seem to find you here

Perhaps you can share those photos you claim that were given to you by the LVM Committee via US Candids, which could potentially prove all of wrong and you could collect some cash. As you may recall you said that some photos didn't make the final cut. Oh, I forgot, US Candids in an email to me and phone call told me that every single photo was posted online. But not to worry, you told Cecily Tynan that is so common and happens all the time that runners go through every single photo checkpoint without a picture being taken. Yeah, except you were the only one, so I guess it is not that common. She didn't buy it, and neither does anyone else, besides your buddy Barb.
BTW cheater bloke, since you love me so much do you want to sponsor me? I'm racing 1000 miles for MS next year. :)

Just answer me this:
1. Do you feel injustice in the world because of Rossi?
2. Did you start a blog about Mike Rossi?
3. Did you come up with "RunningWithIntegrity"?
4. If so, did you sign your letter "Runner United"?
Seriously, was that you or somebody else.

MikeRoss BAA wrote:I have been reading this thread for probably the past 100 pages or so. I thought it was awesome how the BroJos called out Mike Rossi. I will say though some of the most annoying posters in this thread are definitely:
SaraB- she acts so high and mighty, and always thinks she is right, calling trollers or other posters Mike and Ken. Could easily do without her annoying commentary. Maybe she added some before but now she is just nails on a chalkboard with her smug posts.
FinisherMedal(troll version)- this guy is weird; what is his MO? I can't tell the point to any of his posts. He also strangely signs just about every post with LOL
BroJos- the could give us more information regarding who is just using multiple names and who is really who, but for some reason stay silent. Do they welcome the trolling and annoyance? Not sure.
SmartRunnr- Has been relatively silent lately, but not sure what his deal with sticking up for Mike is. The evidence is pretty insurmountable and I am guessing he is just trolling everyone. His attempts fall flat constantly though, at least for me.
I guess that's really only three, no one else has really made much of an impression on me. That one guy MusicManPa had a pretty good reply, and I hope it was legit,. Trollminator has some pretty good posts. No one else has really stuck out. Just an update.
Edit: forgot to add another one.
Agree.

Honestly, it seems like you spend more time here on this thread than almost anybody. You can reel off a list like the one above, you have more posts in the last 10 or so pages than anybody... and who knows what name you were using before then, you also imitate Rossi's writing, (for example, his signature LOL) which suggests you frequent his Twitter. You should be the last poster accusing others of being obsessed with Rossi and not having a life.
I don't even know why I'm responding to you anyhow, as you're a self-admitted troll and you're obviously just baiting people to respond by insulting their posts/posting history.
I guess that's a no then cheater bloke. :)

Soft and naiive? Wow, what an insightful determination from your vacuous mind. The verbal diarrhea that you ejaculate is quite amazing. I suspect you are the reason that Smartrunnr has been relatively silent as you both seem very similar in tone and "substance."
You are as polite as observant.
Are you really still upset that the independent committee confirmed Mike's 3:11 from 2014?

Pics, or it didn't happen.
Actually I'm just pulling your leg. We all know it didn't happen.
Oh, somebody found their password list!!

Oh no no no
unlike you guys I DO admit I have no life and that I AM obsessed with those who are obsessed with rossi.
Now why can't you all just do the same?
LOL!
*Deep breath
My name is Fire Barb McKeever! and I am obsessed with this thread. Like you, I find that it is not only Rossi's antics that make this thread so fascinating, but the antics of some of his detractors as well - most notably Ken Stillman.
I will be saddened if Rossi ever ruins the fun by confessing.
"Pics or it didn't happen" is the perfect movie poster tagline for the eventual Hollywood version of this whole affair.
All the talk about Mike's hair (or lack thereof) and his attempts to hide it, not to mention his rather vast collection of BAA merchandise, makes the first sentence of his work site bio pure gold.
"Mike Rossi wears many hats."
Again, you can't make this sh!t up.

click the link to the East Coast Event Group Blog on that site:
http://www.eastcoasteventgroup.co/blogThe two most recent posts are clearly written by Rossi about the whole stupid letter to the principal sage, before he was outed as a Cheater.
no comments on it though yet. Hint, hint kenneth stillman.
