If she learned how to pace herself better, she would run faster times. Going out fast and dying isn't a great idea.

To be fair the winning time was 14min even. But wondering if the runner should be more aware and move herself to lane 2 with history on the line.

I don't buy that. 0.2 seconds is nearly 1.5 meters at her speed. No way that passing a runner on the straight costs that much distance.
