He doesn't have the mentality to run those kind of times, he's affraid to lead and lay it on the line. You are not running 26:30 with that attitude.

Can't find a 2017 schedule, but they were on the same day at the 2015 world championships.

That is too many marathons without enough rest and recovery. It should be 2 marathons per year, maybe 3, at this level.
Eliud Kipchoge runs 2 marathons per year. He could of run a fall marathon in 2016 as the Olympic gold medalist for a lot of money…and did not do it.
Now I am worried.
Yeah, I think its too much as well. I do think he is in good shape, otherwise, i dont think he would come out and say he is going for work record...especially considering he said he was aiming for under 2:05 in Berlin. So its nice to see he has his confidence back!
with that said, he still has to be careful not to overdo it when he could have a few productive years left in him.
I personally hope he does well in Dubai....then focuses on the WC and forget about the April London Marathon
Heat hasn't been an issue in Dubai. Times are usually PBs.

They have a huge indoor ski resort full of snow. They should have set up some kind of cooling mechanism along the course to control temperatures at ~42 or whatever is optimal.
Isn't it ridiculous to run marathons early in the morning, when the research overwhelmingly shows that performance is maximized in the afternoon to early evening based on circadian rhythms?

Mo does not have the "strong mind" to run "Bekele Long Distance World Record™" type times in various distances…such as the outdoor 5000m, 10,000m, and Marathon World records.
Mo told me that these outdoor records are not as important as the indoor 2 mile world record that he holds.

Temps are more important than "circadian rhythms", especially for the marathon. Sprinters want to be warm, wide awake and on point at the start line. Marathoner want to be half-awake and a little chilly.
