I'm Brit who might be described as somebody who moves within said running circles. There is some truth in this. There are a lot of angry skinny white club running guys here who don't like Mo, and worship Vernon. It's a bit weird to be honest.
The most accurate post of the day thanks. Vernon, is the typical not so smart club runner that you just want knock out with a punch. Mo being the pro he is Im sure would love to clock the guy as many others that have been around Vernon.Vernon is a detriment to British sport and should be banned from participation,taken off any subsidy he is being given as well.

How the hell does Vernon run so fast to begin with. He is huge for a 5k and 10K runner. He looks like a bodybuilder compared to the Mobot.
I left the UK scene nearly 3 years ago for a job in Northern California so my experiences are through that point.
Not that they are actually taking sides but let's assume they are since this is let'srun - id say 95% of British distance runners from UK team members down to the sub elites running 1405 - would side with Vernon here. I would also say that same 95% will treat mo's pending outing for drugs as a great day. And we all know that the move from one of the best in Europe to 'Kenyans can't touch him' means he's dirty. Maybe some have the view that our cheats are better than their cheats but please find me a UK runner who would side with mo here. And I mean runner not cram or foster type.

Michael Rimmer, Kelly Sotherton, Hannah England and Lynsey Sharp all defended him. In fact, 3 out of those 4 came out publically in support and admitted that they too missed drug tests when Mo was getting all the negative headlines in the media. If that's not supporting him, I don't know what is.
Lynsey Sharp also dislikes Vernon and nicknamed him Andy Vermon due to their beef.

Cram and Foster are TV and media commentators, every time there's unsubstantiated speculation about drugs they can't take sides, they have to come across as impartial. Although I have noticed Cram makes veiled hints in his comments about how he's thinking. Here on the LR forum we're anonymous dickheads (apart from rojo, he's not anonymous) so we don't have to give a rats arse and don't have paid contracts, so we can say what we like.

In poker, spades trump all other suits. Considering otherwise equal hands, the spades always win.
I was in the stadium and it was far from ideal. Windy and quite chilly in the shade, which was most of the stadium for most of the night. Flags blowing hard. For most of the meet athletes were in the holding pen before going on to track in full tracksuits, with beanies or hoods up. Mentally, probably already shut out notions of fast times.
Interesting to watch Farah look so calm just before race. Walked out to start chatting to Kejelcha. Even had his arm around him joking. Mind games perhaps?
Ndiku seemed to be sweating more than others for most of race, so not sure how ready he was to challenge if he hadn't fallen.
Mead looked terrible from the start.
Women's St was interesting. Coburn seemed frustrated running off the lead. Her technique so much better than Kenyan's that she was running in to back of them after each barrier, chopping her stride over and over - hence taking the lead I think.
Franck only picked off Quigley over last lap and was 30m off her for most of 2nd half. Looked like she was watching the leaders half the race.
Do you remember cram reaction when mak from Algeria blew the doors off the field back in 2012 - how partial was he being then?

I'm with Vernon all the way. The guy's a legend, is a *genuine* personality and speaks his mind.
Used to cheer for mo. Not any more. I think the day he ran 3.28 was the tipping point - the guy's a fraud, and that's nothing to do with his nationality.
