I don't really know where the gap came from but am contending that his braces were to fix the gap and not due to drug usage. Zat0pek is so looney that he doesn't acknowledge that a gap existed.
Fair enough. Honestly, I thought the braces were a sign of drugs until I read about the tooth removal.
I still think there is a sufficient decline in his performances to refute the questions of whether Lagat is doping. Doping is supposed to improve performances, not just slow the decline. Regina Jacobs improved with age and skipped big international meets. Lagat is slowing, but is still fast enough and does compete on the international stage.
It seems fairly obvious that he is doping. Isn't he as fast at 39 as he was in his mid-20s? That is very suspicious.
