Guy in th elead looks great.
Who the hell is he. Here is what Tilastapaja says about him.
They have him as Abrha Milaw. They don't list a DOB. He is ethiopian.
The guy on tv is calling im Abrha Milaw Asefa:

Outdoor Alltime Show/hide
2011 2:20:54 2 San Sebastián 27 Nov

Anyone know how old he is?
Now they're saying he's Tsegaye Asefa. Hah. Both Asefas have never broken 62 in the half. Ridiculous.
Wow 18 - doesn't much older - unknown - maintaining good rythm
Let's see if he can keep hammering down to low 2:04
Tsegaye Mekonnen Asefa - ETH
Now i'm confused. Their own media guide lists the guy with ASEFA ON HIS BIB AS HAVING A 209 PB.

tILASTAPAJA DOESN'T LIST ANYTHING ABOUT WORLD JUNIORS FOR HIM?
38K 1:51:57 2:53 last K 2:04:19 Pace and looks like he can push all the way to the finish

Look at the last guy on the list(number 27) the theoretical worst in the field.
39K 1:54:56 2:59 Last K 2:04:21 Pace
40K 1:58:00 3:04 Last K 2:04:29 Pace
Ok maybe the celebration was a bit early as his turnover is not as crisp as 10 minutes ago 14:38 35-40K
YOu guys are right. There are two ASEFA's in the media guide.
Unreal. Two guys they gave the exact same name but the computer is saying the leader is this one:
Tsegaye Mekonnen Asefa
5th at world juniors in 2012:

the male mary cain?
1 Mekonnen Asefa, Tsegaye (ETH) 02:04:32
2 Geneti Guteta, Markos (ETH) 02:05:13
3 Birhanu Gebru, Girmay (ETH) 02:05:49
4 Tola Adera, Tamirat (ETH) 02:06:17
5 Bekele Molaign, Azmeraw 02:07:12
6 Dechase Leche, Shumi (BRN) 02:07:13
7 Milaw Asefa, Abrha (ETH) 02:07:46
8 Kassw Belay, Abera 02:08:18
9 Harroufi, Abdeimounaim (USA) 02:09:11
10 Alemayehu Ameta, Belachew (ETH) 02:09:50
The course HAS TO BE short, converting 2:06 athletes in 2:04.
In the last Houston Marathon Ethiopian Dadi Yami ran 2:11. In Dubai 2012 he ran 2:05...and Ayele Abshero is a good 2:06 runner, with an astonishing 2:04low debut in Dubai.
I think Abdeimounaim is Moroccan?
