Pretty sure the split is official looking at how many people had the same time on the thread and how it popped up on the broadcast. Also looked back and saw someone say his first 4 laps were 4:01 but that might include the extra 18m back from the start. If Jakob didn't go double sub 4 I have to admit it would take a little bit of shine off the record, not a lot because he would have closed in 3:53 (just Alan Webb's high school PB, nbd) but it'd be a little less cool.
