I don't think there's a single school in MN with an alter-G, but there are some places (PTs and performance centers) where you can pay to run on one (or it can be included in a PT plan). On a somewhat related note, there's also a rollerski treadmill that you can ski on for $75/hour. Crazy world we're living in.
Edina H.S. has an AlterG. They’re the only h.s. in Minnesota that has one (I believe). The University of Minnesota has four…last I know.

Brilliant. And because St. Olaf is hosting a football game at 1pm, womens' hockey at 3pm, etc., there is no wiggle room on the schedule to let the potential rain pass.
It's pretty unfair for the hundreds of athletes who have trained for years for this event.

Yeah, how dare they make kids run a cross country race on a rainy 45 degree morning.
Ha yeah it definitely levels the playing field a bit and opens the door more for upsets. I am sure it won't be that bad where they would have to delay the start or anything.
It’s Cross Country. Who ever heard of weather delays? C’mon. It hasn’t rained in months. It would take a substantial amount of rain to impact the course and some of my favorite races have been in the rain. I also don’t know of anywhere else in the state that would have the capacity to host.
Yeah I think Minnetonka should be up there but only if Maya More can preform a solid race like the old (pre injury) 17:50 maya we know. Also Minnetonka Clair Cashman a (18:40s runner)is on crutches right now. Tonkas Avery Marasco (18:30s) was off from running last week, and only doing cross training on her Strava. No clue if this means anything or not. I think we might not see the performance we are expecting from Tonka girls at state. But who knows there super solid team anyway even if it’s ‘all falling down’ right now. NXR is still looking good for them. And with the 8th grader Evie Malec leading the team there’s a good future.

Wearing a walking boot at sections. He's listed in the program as one of nine, two runners won't run. If he's healthy of course he'll run, they will win with him. Without him it opens the door for another team to steal the victory.
Lucky Lindy: For the second meet in a row, Minnehaha had a guy dominate the JV race and would have scored on their varsity. Not sure why he isn’t running Varsity.
Zivec, a Czech native, was only allowed to run JV races during the regular season because he attended his Minnesota high school without being part of a recognized international exchange program. He was running 5Ks in around 1...
