I hesitate to say he's finished but two years after surgery and still struggling, it doesn't look good.
I blame Schumacher for Solinsky running himself into the injury. I was stunned to see that he leaves it up to his athletes to set their mileage. Most world class athletes will overtrain if given the opportunity. One of the jobs of a coach is to prevent his athletes from overtraining and injuring themselves.

Dillenger was a great coach and he couldn't see it with his group. Maybe Schumacher still see the old Solinsky and thinks that Chris is already running workout slower than before. Its hard to see overtraining until it is to late.
I am pulling for Solinsky, I hope he makes it back. He deserves that with as much hard work and disappointment he has endured to get there.

Webb more or less was starting to come back well from a layoff under Salazar, then took a turn in the wrong direction

Derek Clayton was 160 or more and ran under 2:10 twice. Anyone who can go under 27 can run a 1:01 half easy, no matter what they weigh.
The point remains CSOL aka beastmode was IT. I always cringe for the young runners of today, forced to see Galen prance. Although, when he wears his mask it seems he's in some sort of homo-erotic gaunt earwings thing.
