Also weird how he trips himself up. Jakob is a looser to have "lost" two world championships, while uphold El G. El G's equally "lost" his first world championship, then placed 12th at olympics, before he finally won his first gold - older than Jakob is now. You would think that someone would learn to not judge to hardly on someones performances in the start of their career. Comparing two world championships and olympics (three golds and two silver for Jakob, a gold, a silver and a 12th place for El G, what a loser - right?).
Other than that its quite spectacular how he hate Jakob for being cocky (imagine one of the best there is acts like he is one of the best there is), while being the most rude and condescending poster in here.

Why are we even discussing the 2019 world championship final that occurred before his prime and when he was obviously not the best runner in the world nor did anybody think he was? 2019 is a plus for his legacy in that he performed so well at such a young age, nobody was expecting him to win. That’s completely irrelevant to any criticism of him whatsoever. If he didn’t make the final in 2019, you wouldn’t even think of bringing it up. Or maybe we should also criticize him for not even qualifying for the world championships back in 2017.
That's such a weird way to talk about a guy that has lost 3 WC 1500 finals but keeps putting down his competitors.

Meh, you are feeding the troll. It's like the Lebron has lost a final argument. Where you hold it against Lebron that he carried teams that didn't belong to the final and lost, because Michael never lost a final (but never made the final on many occasions).
I don't like JK's arrogant comments after he loses, he sounds like sour grapes and excuses. However, this comment was just funny banter that I wish he stick to. He is only 22.
Word I’ve been reading is that Hayward is not exactly a very fast track for distance events. Apparently Jakob himself had acknowledged this. Perhaps that is why Jakob has not actually said this is a WR attempt.
I do not expect to see the WR go down tomorrow, but keeping it in mind if conditions are ideal. I do, however, expect to see a great showdown, hopefully between Jakob and Nuguse, and the AR go down. The time is now for the goose.
Albeit this wasn't a very insightful prediction, but I'll take my victory lap nonetheless.
Jakob so arrogant, but in an entertaining way most of the time. Supposedly he is getting married NEXT weekend, but I saw him wearing a ring already a couple of weeks ago. The Olympics needs to bring back the mile. The 1500 or 1600 has no meaning to people who don't follow track.
Cole Hocker’s expression in photos from that part of the press conference is kinda funny. It looks like he’s trying to hide his disgust.
I think it’s kinda clear Hocker does NOT like Jakobs antics/bravado. Not that he needs motivation, but I think he would love to knock him down a peg. Likely to ever happen? No.
Because he keeps losing world championship finals - unlike better runners like El G, who won a bunch of them. Jakob fans have something in common with Jakob - you pretend his losses never happened, and only his wins count. It doesn't work that way.
No I dont. Jakob is double wc silver and double wc gold at 22. (El G had only one wc silver at that age, you might want to read up on him, lol). You pretending like that is a bad thing or something to be ashamed of is just weird and concerning.
It isn't about age but what runners have achieved. Ingebrigtsen has not achieved what El G did. He may never.

Elliott had retired at 22 and accomplished more than Jakob at that age, being not only Olympic champion but the world record-holder over 1500 and the mile, and being unbeaten over either distance in his career. Ingebrigtsen can never achieve that. He has also yet to take the world record over those distances. He may never. Elliott was the greater runner. And "only" 22.
Armstronglivs is an interesting specimen. The runner he chooses to absolutely SEETHE over every single day is the runner that is most likely to dominate the scene for years to come. Does he just hate himself?

None of your stupid arguments gets around the fact that El G remains ahead of Ingebrigtsen in world championship titles and world records over the 1500/mile. Ingebrigtsen has none of either. What you think he might achieve is irrelevant until he has done it. You guys treat Ingebrigtsen like a popstar you drool over, not an athlete.
El G achieved in many ways what Jakob hasn't. El G had numerous world championship titles and the world records over the distances. It is irrelevant what you or anyone thinks Jakob might do. He hasn't done it. He may never. At this stage he isn't yet in El G's class - or that of the other great md runners.
Numerous world championships titles and NO OLYMPIC title (until he won his final 1500m race).
El G and Jakob have something in common: they both took silvers in the 1500m at the World Championships.
El G had a fistful of 1500 WC titles to Jakob's none, as well as an Olympic title (so what, when he won it?) and holds the wr's for the 1500 and mile. Jakob doesn't. Only an Ingebrigtsen 'groupie' can argue he is ahead of or even equal to El G in this debate.

The seething is all from his irate fans, like you.

I agree! But your post got a factual error: Jakob did as a matter of fact qualify to Worlds 2017 -as a 16 years old he nearly qualified for the final (fell over the last hurdle in the steeple heat)…
