Good to see Valerie Adams back over 20m again. 20.05 for the win
Grego and Grice with good 'white-man' races
Loved seeing Rosa's golden boy Kiprop get destroyed. Lousy cheat.
Hated seeing some random doped up Kenyan get the win instead. Same ol' crap.
Go Schippers go!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the commentators - who always ripp pepole for not going with the rabbits are now ripping for Kiprop for going for it???
It shows you that commentators just are looking for controversy. A nice run for Gregson. 3:32.
Or you just have poor listening comprehension. That is not what the commentators said.
What the heck are those black squares pinned to all their shirts

I love Tim Hutchings but he so butchered the call. He had no idea who won.
If that's the situation I guess he should say, "I have no idea who that is"

Has anyone ever seen a 1500 that went out sub 1:50? Let's compile a list of those.
1:50 was the split the rabbit was supposed top hit per the website prior to the event. 2:17 for the 1000 was the other rabbit checkpoint.
Respect

What's up with the Texas A&M crew you say Rojo? Bralon Taplin, former Aggie currently training w/ Pat Henry in College Station, looking good taking 3rd in a world class field. Also had Shelbi Vaughn (discus), Maggie Malone (javelin), & Ricky Babineaux (400mh) w/ top notch performaces at the trials. Have heard rumblings that Brazier was immediately cut off from Texas A&m resources when he turned pro, not sure about Shamier Little.

Kwemoi
SHEER DOMINATION by sweet Dafne.
ANNIHILATED the competition.
Would love to see her take the double in Rio.
She's got swag, confidence... Gorgeous as hale. Bringing clean sprinting back. Awesome.
It's not like Ronald Kwemoi is new and came out of nowhere. He ran 3:28 as a junior.

Pacer slowed down way too much with 450m to go and Kiprop ran into the back of him - guy didn't even swing wide. It was like he started running 6min pace but just stayed in lane 1. Kiprop totally out of it mentally after the collision.
That's what I saw too. The second pacer was just awful. I won't say it totally took Kiprop out of it but it should be some of the blame. He tripped over the pacer and the 3rd lap was a 59 because of him slowing down.

Never understand why the pacers always pull off to the outside. By doing it in this race he caused a little clop of step by the 2 guys right behind him.
Why not just step off to the inside ? less chance of bumping someone. Cut across ZERO lanes as opposed to cutting out 3 or 4 lanes infont of people running up your back

Kwemoi looked excellent. If he can keep the same form for Rio and put together another strong tactical race, he should contend for gold.
Kiprop looked great and then... not great. Perhaps the coaching issues got to him this week and/or he wasn't quite in form to go out that fast. And the second rabbit really bonked it - I'm sure that did affect his race, although I would imagine Kiprop at 100% wouldn't have been too fazed by it.
It's a shame the times haven't lived up to the hype so far, but hey, there's a reason why those times are the world records. Maybe Semenya will blast a quick one...
'clop of step' what the hell does that mean?!
Come to Algeria. I will slap you with my sandal. My 3:27 was clean. I spit on you.
