At least you correctly identified your website as "stupid". Bravo. ALL conversions are stupid. Conversions are made-up BS. All of them. Not only are they made up, the methods they employ violate scientific rules of decimal accuracy.
What about the rest of the runners? They just follow the leader and get towed in to PRs and NRs for every god damned Diamond League run this year. Jakob is the man with all eyes on, and he does it again and again.
It was a nice race: 55.8-55.8-55.3-40.24. Last 800 1.49.34. Last 400: 54.04.
He still will need to go out more aggressively to hit his absolute maximal time. Still this was really well-executed and close at 3:27.14. 3:26-high fitness with a little more aggression through 800m. Down the field, this was Kipsangs best performance in some time. Looks like he’ll be a factor at Worlds. Young Cheruiyot a solid first DL, probably gave himself too much work to do navigating the field late. Coscoran awesome race, Keter is completely fearless but needs to learn to dial it back a bit. Habz kinda showing his limitations and that maybe his best route is to lay off a hot pace a bit and kick.
Who at the top level of track and field doesn’t dope? Not trying to discredit anyone but it’s like watching the Tour de France and thinking they’re clean. All of your favorite professional runners have doped or dabbled in grey area stuff. It doesn’t matter how nice they are or what country they’re from, clean athletes don’t make it far in track and field (or any other professional sport to be fair).
It’s just stupid to be like well I like this runner so they’re clean and the ones I don’t like are dirty. Don’t get me wrong El G was likely on stronger stuff than the runners of today but all of todays top guys likely have TUEs plus super shoes so why squabble about who’s on what.

In theory I think you are right, but Jakob said in an interview (NRK) that he felt the lactate really early, and that he felt more fatigue past the finish line than usual… But I think all this suggest he can do even better…!
Noah Ngeny ran 3:43.40 mile which converts to 3:26.85 for 1500m
1. 3:26.00 Hicham El Guerrouj
2. 3:26.34 Bernard Lagat
3. 3:26.69 Asbel Kiprop
4. 3:26.85 Noah Ngeny (on-route)
5. 3:27.14 Jakob Ingebrigtsen
Ngeny didn’t run 3:26.85 en route. That may be what his mile converts to, but the fact is he only ever ran 3:28.12 for 1500. Jakob is 4th all time.
Yeesh, so by "technically youre wrong" logic, JI is already the best 1500m runner since his two mile WB is rated 1304, and El Gourrej 's 1500 WR is only rated at 1302.
Methinks not, at least not today!

Wow! Cam Myers wouldn't even start the 8 years of byu freshman eligibility until 2029.
Why be a bitter individual? It is not difficult to see and acknowledge talent and hard work when you see it. Rather than make that acknowledgment, you find any reason to bring down and demean another’s success.
Not all byu runners serve a mission for their church. Many do. Do you honestly believe that two years of no running, losing much of your aerobic base, and quite often gaining 30lbs is beneficial to anyone’s running career? If so, I’d love to see Jakob take off the next two years, gain some serious weight, and come back to run a sub 3:25 1500m WR in 2026.
The NCAA has eligibility requirements. These runners (and all other runners) follow the requirements. Suck it up buttercup and stop living a miserable life.
