I don't, can you tell me what the difference is? What is the difference between quality and quantity? Is he doing sprints?

I'd like to know how higher quality running can be a greater factor than time spent running in a 26.2 training regimen.

Some elite athletes do a higher percentage of fast running and less mileage than other runners who run a lot of useless slow mileage.

This is another of those unusual or inconsistent behavior bits of circumstantial evidence. There's the harder evidence (lack of photos, no race history, insufficient training for that kind of breakthrough...etc), then there are the "no way this blowhard doesn't make a bigger deal of his performance" aspects. My real route to a BQ was similar to Rosie's fake route, you can damn sure bet I wanted my family there with me when I did it...or if I failed.

We are talking about a slow hobby jogger running 15 miles and you support your assertion that he could do this on such low mileage by referencing elite athletes?

When you are referring to elite athletes, what is the ratio of their fast to slow running? 20 miles to 80 miles?

Beside, why would you equate quality with speedwork but call base training slow garbage miles? Both stimuli are needed to produce a runner who is strong and has endurance. Ask any good marathon runner.

He ran 15 miles a week. No balance will bring his down to a 3:11

One thing I did was odd is that Rojo spent a couple paragraphs explaining how a person who runs a 5K in 7:02 could not run a marathon in 7:19 pace, comparing the small difference there with the difference in the world records and those of other runners, etc. But they also mentioned that his best half marathon was 1:40, which is much slower than 7:19 pace that he supposedly ran for a full marathon.

Seems like it would be a much easier to just say, "Hey, people cannot run a faster pace for a full marathon than they can for a half marathon and if you don't understand that then there is no hope for you."

Guys! I follow Mike Rossi on Insta and guess what he just posted? A finisher photo of him at the Via Marathon holding his medal with the caption: "TBT. BQ Via marathon. 2014."

Part of me wants to say something snarky, the other part of me doesn't want to for fear of getting blocked and no longer being able to follow his "journey."

Thoughts? Any suggestions on a snarky comment, in case I do respond?
