Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

Other people are free to do as they wish but I won't harass third parties nor will I bring Rossi' place of work or his family into anything. I don't think it gets us anything other than a loss of credibility

It was a good attempt by Rossi to try and change the attention of the thread to the Huffman chick. But that lady didn't harass a school principal the way Rossi did. And then publicly claimed it wasn't his fault it went viral, yet talking to every website, newspaper, or TV show that called him - and then posting every link on his Facebook, blog, company blog and Twitter account.

Not his fault indeed.

In fact his company website has a follow up, as does the school district website, where the Principal, teachers, and superintendent, all denied Rossi's policy change request, and yet he still denies any wrongdoing and says he would do it all again. And then STILL posts 3 more links to the previous news story that went viral!

And Huffman is worse than Rossi?

And we know Mike is reading this so his company blog post will probably disappear soon, but it's been archived already.

I'm really confused by the whole Huffman thing. The petition states she was DQ'd from the Marine Corps Historic Half in May 2014. However, she ran a 2:06, which doesn't place her even in the Top25 of her AG. The petition stated she won a trophy?!?She has no results in the Historic Half from 2015 (about a month ago). Is this really the race she was DQ'd from and what the petition is all about???The 1:31 race is actually from 2014, but this was in October in DC, a part of the Marine Corps Marathon, and was actually just a 10k. So that's not it.I would agree the 1:40 from the Garden Spot is a huge outlier. Sounds like she really did cheat at that one.

Got it - finally found the pictures from the Marine Corps Historic Half from 2015. I see her bloody chin in the pics. This is the race she was DQ'd from. The petition says 2014, but it really was 2015. Not sure what time she ran there because her results have been removed (and not reinstated like someone earlier in this thread said)Sorry to post here in the Rossi thread. I believe that her time was 1:31 in the half she was DQed at. She called it a huge PR day, look at her Facebook where she has almost 5,000 friends and bragged about the race if you scroll down a bit. She is worse than Rossi but some people are so out to get to Rossi that they think that's the only case of cheating that matters.

I think that Huffman cheated to that 1:40 and enjoyed the props everyone was giving her so she stepped it up and cheated to that 1:31. There is no way she ran that time and to have thousands sign a petition when you know you cheated is a horrible thing to allow.

One thing that stands out is that he doesn't say his wife and or family was with him that day. To me for someone who cares so much for Boston, you would think they would have been there cheering Dad on.

SarahB is the only one on the level here. People like GregTR and triguy are just hangers on.

Does any of my writing signal that I am Mike, with his unusual capitalization and poor grammar? I can assure you that I am not Michael Rossi. I am a well-educated professional and avid runner who posts here regularly. You just can't fathom the idea that people other than your target don't respect you or your comments.

In the same vein, I'm afraid that you are just too insecure to accept that others here have massively more respect for SaraB than you clowns. She is a rock star and you a groupie.
