Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

What do you guys think the odds are that money changed hands in this non-DQ - either directly to the race director or to the race's main charity? Rossi is willing to spend big bucks on a lawyer, to threaten people who say that he cheated. Is it possible that he managed to bribe his way out of his predicament by making a large donation to the race's charity in exchange for being cleared? Obviously Rossi doesn't care about the charity, based on his unwillingness to buy a charity entry into Boston, but he does care enormously about his own public image. Enough to spend big money to improve it?

Obviously I have zero evidence to back this up, but would there be any way to find out? It's inconceivable to me that the race could have not DQ'd him based on the amount of evidence presented that he didn't run the race. It's also hard for me to believe that the race director is really stupid enough to take any threat Mike Rossi may have made to sue seriously.

It's obvious that the race manager is incompetent, but is it possible that she is also corrupt?

I've noticed that most of the pro-Rossi posts have been of the "move along, it's over" type. But anyone who thought it was over would not even bother with reading the thread. I think Rossi could be behind ALL of them.
