Monson looked so relaxed and was not straining at all. I have a feeling she would have won had she known that Niyonsaba was charging so late. I did not expect her to run that well. She really can complete with the best of them.

When you're in the position Monson was you pretty much have to assume someone is going to be coming and run as hard as you can through the line; massive pb for her running from the front, not taking anything away from her. But the win would have been nice!!
