So happy to see Athing Mu enjoying the sport again. She made an instagram post about how being in the valley of losing the world final allowed her to finally enjoy the successes that she’s had over the years. I think that really shone through today. No more “winning streak” hanging on her back either, she’s free to compete. W800 & M1500 have to be my favorite events to watch right now, so excited for the Olympics.

I remember standing on Hayward Field. Felt like I was standing on sacred ground. All that is left of that wonderful facility is the memory and a photograph.
