Can Hall's performance be a AR with 4 male pacers around her?

Hall’s right arm is starting to flail a bit more than normal, but this is the first sign of fatigue she’s shown aside from a few grimaces. She still has 4 pacers with her and her leg turnover looks great.
Desi, who would be able to read Hall’s body language much better than me, thinks that Sara still looks good.

Not sure about his story, but I spent some time looking at the stravas of the entrants leading up to this race and Mickow has run almost 2000 miles more than anyone else this year. Pulling for him to pull it off. Looks like his PR is from Atlanta which was his second full.
If only mileage totals translated to Marathon success...

Was in Hudson Elite for a while (with Vaughn) and now trains with McCandless under Steve Jones in Boulder Harriers. Won BolderBoulder citizens race one year. Thought he ran in ATL but not sure at all. Blue collar type, college grad despite a learning disability, good young guy to root for.
Anyone have more info on: C. Mickow, M. Iacofano, E. Roudolff?
Iacofano ran at Kentucky, was in Boulder and ran 2:13 at CIM a couple years ago, moved to Boise to join IDP and skipped the OT, can't say whether he's still in IDP.
1 pacer has dropped off, Hehir is making a showing up front, Droddy still right there, and damn Butler is hangin'!, Cam is on Butler's shoulder, Scott Smith has pretty much been in the 2nd-3rd row thus far,Jjared on Smith's shoulder, Fauble beside Jared, he's been in the middle-back of the pack most of the day - he's looking alrightish.
Does Cam Levins still run really high mileage? Anyone know what his recent training is like?

So should I root for the AR? I mean it’s really cool that Kellyn is going for it. Was that the plan all along and they didn’t want to tell anyone? I was wondering that when i saw her up there or did she just say screw it and go for it?
But then again, it’s not really fare to Deena who didn’t have super shoes. And does Kellyn even have super super shoes? What shoes is she in? What shoes are they both i n?
ALWAYS root for the American Record, it raises the bar and leads to better times, as the other top USA runners say this person did it, so it can be done.
15:18 for 5k to 30k (15:16, 15:16, 15:18) last 3 5k. Right on 2:09 flat pace
Canadian Olympic Team watch:
Levins looks amazing and easy at 2:09 pace--will he start to push after 30k and go for the win?? He was 1:31:45 at 30k........Preisner, hanging tough about 7 secs back (1:31:52)--still looks ok, but this is his first race....Linklater 17 secs back (1:32:02), looks to be hurting but hanging in there.
Great races for all

He posted a 6 x 5k workout that slowed from like 15:25-16:27 in Dec but hard to say.
Ward is done
Men’s pacers are now gone and Levins appears to pick it up immediately. Lead pack down to Levins, Droddy, Fauble, Smith, Iacofono, Butler, Bennie, Hehir and maybe 1 or 2 I can’t see
Lara the last pacer looks like he might be staying in it. He isn’t at the front any more, but he grabbed a bottle and settled back in the lead back.

I'm looking forward to the day that all the old records from the "good old days" are broken, so that we can talk about something other than shoes moving forward
Hall is now down to 2 pacers and one of them is really offering a lot of verbal encouragement and pointing out the tangent. Cmon Sara!

You flipped the first two 5k splits, it was 16:38, 16:24.
I'm only following via the leaderboard, but in my opinion the next 5k segment from 25-30k will tell the tale as far as Hall is concerned. Not the best sign that things are gradually slowing down, and she's now over AR pace overall, so in my opinion she needs to stop the trend and be at/under 16:40 in this next 5k to have a shot. I'm not familiar with the course, but I'm assuming it's entirely flat.
Hall checking her watch with a look of determination. She is definitely still rolling but the grimace is there.
