Then your "better racer" needs some other excuse as to why she didn't medal at the Olympics--and Simpson did, and why Simpson has a WC gold & a silver, and your "better racer" only has 2 WC bronzes.
I think you need a better method for determining who is the better racer.
I like Rowbury more because the Simpson fans are such quintessential bland distance runner types. They're all these white guys from the midwest who date girls named jenny and think makeup is risque and threatening. Don't spill any vanilla ice cream on your GAP jeans lol
I bet Jenny regrets winning that medal and wishes she'd saved her best for this race.

Risqué and threatening? How about looking like a clown? She also does seem to be content trying to beat Simpson, while Simpson tries to be in the mix.
I have nothing wrong with hot chicks wearing makeup, but Rowbury is not in that category.
Rowbury is great. She's a slick whistle, knows her stuff. But I guess Jenny has the Olympic medal.

This is very true. Irony is they're too judgmental to figure out that Shannon is very down to earth. I get the feeling they're actually Simpson and coburn masquerading as fans on this site.

Who has the Olympic bronze medal? I'm pretty sure the Olympic 1500m was a tactical race.
Yeah at the end of the day simpson has a bronze medal at the Olympic games. This race will not be remembered.

Well Rowbury does have two world championship medals to her credit in addition to the American Record.
Both runners are in the arc of great careers, but taking all medals and AR's into account, doesn't Simpson come out on top?
