solid win

Shannon rode Simpson like a horse. ðŸŽ
Why would you make a whole thread about this and not post the times of either of them?
Rowbury 3:58.00
Simpson 3:58.19
It would serve Simpson well to work on HER tactical abilities. Rowbury is the better racer and has superior range. Name an American woman with better PRs from 800-5000m.
Might want to re-check the scoreboard, bro.
Simpson be like Neigh, neigh!
I really appreciate how Simpson races the field and hate how Rowbury just races Simpson. It is kinda embarrassing. Rowbury gave up an Olympic medal because all she did was sit on Simpson and fell a little short. Same game plan every time makes her seem small.
So getting fourth while someone else, who owns an Olympic medal, gets sixth is called a "win" now?

I mean Simpson owns an Olympic medal for gosh sakes! Owns one outright.
I can remember a time when owning an Olympic medal meant that no one could get a so-called "win" by finishing in fourth place to your own sixth.
An Olympic Medal! jesus!
John is the one who said that

Yep, and Rowbury showed everyone that in Rio........oh....wait.
SB a week late. JS better tactics when it counted.
Simpson races to win, Rowbury races to beat Simpson. Who wouldn't rather have Simpson's medals then Rowbury's times?
We need some new women's 1500 m girls.
These two are getting increasingly woofie,
And not quite connecting with the next generation.
Hanging on playing in the gray sandbox, both of them .

Oh you think you're clever, huh? I just watched the race again and Shannon was nowhere near Jenny for most of it. They ended up near one another at the end as things heated up. Ever entertain the thought that Shannon might be running her own race, which entails hanging back, and then kicking very hard for home?

Sure, I'd take both in that order.
Nice try... wrote:

I agree with your comments. Both girls lack the courage that Laura Muir has shown and maybe are "risk averse" by nature. It's one thing to run within your limits in an Olympic final but in a Diamond league race, it would be nice to see one of them lead from the front and try to win.
I think Leah O'Connor might do better in the 1500m rather than the steeplechase.
