Congrats to a great run and record. A little perspective. Lindgren ran his run on the 11 laps to the mile boards (which sink on contact) and I believe enroute to a two mile. Pre ran 808 outdoors but was en route to a 5k! Literally had five laps to go. The two mile record before lindgren was 924 so he deserves props for pulling hs track into the future. Both he and pre were in fields of Olympians.

and the moral of the story is...Tinman is obviously the best coach on letsrun.com

It was also on 11 lap to mile banked boards.But not all board tracks were bad, just tight turns obviously, some had nice give back and bounce.

Take a talented runner and add professional coaching and you can make a Drew Hunter. He has been coached professionally for 3 years. Huge advantage over other high schoolers to have that kind of knowledge 24/7...just sayin is all

Pre's 8:41.5 must have been in 1969.

Having coaches for parents doesn't hurt either.
