Tool That Lead the Boston Marathon

I don't know Seth but I know good guys. Every last good guy on earth would have the decency to not be an opportunistic douche on this day, in this race. Why didn't he pull ahead by 100m if he wanted to lead? That would have been an even bigger statement.

I'm not happy to run in Altras today.

Why would anyone put up the money to fly and run Boston as a training run? What!? You've got a bigger marathon you're training for?

I'm a former 13:45 5K runner and collegiate all-american and i have no problem with what this guy did. I think it is awesome in fact and would love to see 5, 10, 20 or 50 people do the same thing. Why not? Who cares if they blow up? Who cares if they cut somebody off? They paid to run the race and they rightfully deserve the chance to run their pace. I loved seeing this guy up there and will be rooting for the next interloper.

Except Glenn Randall actually holds on a lot better (and he's a legit mountain racer). The other guy is a tool with tree trunk legs.

I like it when decent runners go out with the leaders because you can see what a huge difference in body structure there is between a 2:2something marathoner and a 2:0something marathoner. He looked like a linebacker. That's why he looks ridiculous, it's not his behavior.

Yeah, re-reading my post i agree that cutting somebody off would not be good but i'm glad you agree with the rest. It's not like these guys last more then 3-4 miles at most. Anybody who lasts much longer then that is a pretty serious runner who could probably run a 65 minute half. The true elites know these guys are not their competition.

I guess if your opinion is more valid because you're an all-American I need to mention that I'm a multiple time all-American and my 5k PR is faster than yours. I think it's rediculous that a guy like this goes out hard with the sole intent of gaining some kudos from ignorant facebook friends that think it's neat that they know someone that lead the Boston marathon.

One of his facebook comments is "the only person that led more of the marathon than me was Meb." What a douche. Get the hell of the course and let the elites get the publicity they deserve.

Why is nothing being said about that.

Shalane is not a tool just because she led the Boston Marathon.
