Ha, I got trash-talked for calling those guys on trash talk.
I know head games when I see them; and I call them as I see them.
When someone sends out quips like these just before a race, they are messing with you, or trying to.
I don't see any major bad intent here, just guys putting out some normal competitive vibes before a highly charged race.
If they were genuine (not trash talk) comments, then they were made by overly earnest nincompoops. I don't think that is the case.
So the poster who called my post stupid is actually a real dense muffin.
Am I the only one who read their comments and thought, 'They're scared of him and don't want him to be in the race'? It didn't sound like trash talk at all; it sounded like two frightened kids who were hoping to play ball by themselves and suddenly someone bigger came along.
