    Paris is not a major marathon per the abbot WMM definition which as I'm sure most here know only includes

    Tokyo

    London

    Boston

    Berlin

    Chicago

    New York City

    World Championships

    Olympics

    Berlin, however, is.

    The only thing holding Bekele back from holding the current WR is him not realizing he was within striking range of it during the last stages of Berlin. Watch his facial expression at the finish. He knew he should've had it.

    Summary: the guy is a legend. OP, I hope your foot isn't too gross.
