What a race it will be at the olympics, with two of Warholms biggest opponents having taken his scalp after the WC.
T-minus 15 seconds until the LetsRun thread pops up:
“Warholm goes home DEVSTATED!! Is he FINISHED & washed up?? The Norwegian reign over track and field is officially done (Jakob next?!)??!”
so happy for rai
4th fastest time in history for Benjamin
Beautiful race from Rai. His second fastest time ever I believe.
If only the meet was at night, the WR would for sure fall. Why do US meets always happen in the daytime.?
I think that’s the best Rai has ever looked at the end of a big race. And now he has a bye into worlds (not that he really needed it to make the team) so maybe we could see him in the open quarter at the trials (I say only because I’d like to see it)
So the EU crowd is able to watch it live

Warholm too heavy atm
At the moment he just tied his season best.
Rai always run well at Heyward going all the way back to his USC days

He’s always had an athletic build and strong hammies but I never recall him looking like a widebody

Is there any way to watch this in the US not on NBC/Peacock? Will the YouTube stream be available here or will I need to stab myself in my ears?
Diamond League YouTube channel with an IP adddress from (according to Watch Athletics):
Australia, Bhutan, Cambodia, France, Indonesia, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Myanmar, North Korea, Romania, Sri Lanka, Vietnam.
Romania works for me.

Stuck with the NBC feed on Peacock :( when will the pain and suffering end? #WorldFeedOrDeath
At least we get Swangard instead of Diffey. It could be worse.
Rooting for Norwood, would be amazing if he could get the win and the bye
M 400 up, tough act to follow after that opening race.

University of Oregon has a football game tonight so, you know, priorities.
That was a blatant false start
