Alberto accepts talented foreign athletes because he knows that his American athletes will get better training with world-class talent.
Just look at Engels and Murphy this year - training with Kejelcha has been very good for them. Both of them could probably break 3:50 right now in the right race.

Pete Julian (not Salazar) has been working primarily with the NOP American young bucks.
