Alright so recently, I read Hadd training and thought it was a good approach. I decided to do a max hr test (all out 800m then 400m) I'm 17 yrs old and i got 240 bpm. And im 100% sure this is correct because ive seen my hr got up to at least 225 multiple times. Anyway for Hadd training easy pace would be around 150 or 70% of max hr. So i have a question, my 70% would be 170 about so should i run at that bpm? I tried running at 150 but it was superrr hard to keep my heart rate low enough it kept going up.till like 180.
Also why is my hr max 240?? That seems crazy and this is my 4th year of HS track so i have experience but my times suck so I am doing Hadd.
