Easy win without pushing it much at all. Senior race too long for him? Would challenge him more that's for sure.

Probably looking to be a 4 time U20 champion. One more year to go. In 2016, he ran 17:06 for 6k at the U20!!!

What you are asking is, can he beat Filip over 10K? I think he'll prefer to take a fourth crown next year and let Filip enjoy his December vacation. It's bad enough to lose to him on the track already. Gotta keep the peace in the family lol.
not sure if they changed the rules for europe, But David Bedford won both the junior and senior british XC champinships in the same day. They later changed the rules to prevent this.
I think Jakob could have beaten Filip.
I honestly believe that Felip still has the edge. He has at least one more year as the top Ingebrigtsen brother. He had the fastest season best in the 1500 by a decent bit this year, and got injured at Euro's in the 1500. It is hard to count that against him.
I do not believe that Jakob could have handled Felip in the 10k today, nor do I think their father wants him racing longer distances. Did anyone else notice how Felip and Henrik ran that road 10k, but Jakob did not?
Rules imply that 20 years is the senior race minimum age limit.
Big run from the spaniard? in 2nd but how ballsy to wave at the crowd and sh!t the whole race... didnt he know who was breathing down his neck??

He knew he wouldn't get a chance later on, so he had to ham it up early.
He is asked post race by the European Athletics media and he says.
Your rules....ask your boss.
That knee slide at the end (by someone else, not Jakob) - classic.

plus he helped his team win gold sure the federation and the people back home love this as well
So Norway walks away from the weekend with 3 golds not 1
Cordray: Jakob didnt participate in the 10k road race in Norway in October because he had the flu. Actually both his brothers and father thought he would be the strongest in that race, because of his extreme VOmax,
He has later said the flu effected him the first week of altitude training also, from training full speed. (They had a flight to Flagstaff the day after the 10K race)
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
