You must have great koach ! Magic Fall !

Hill fartlek followed by 5x200 with 200 jog.
Gravy.....have you really tested it out ? 20 x 400m is the runners bread and butter..... Did you see that the new world record
holder at half Abraham Kiptum use to do 15 x 400m at 60-61 sec with a min rest and sometimes 30 x 1 min fast with a min jog rest ? Some months ago I wrote at my group on Facebook what it takes to run close to a world record 800m - Ultra. I wrote it takes 20 x 400m at 60-61 sec with around a min rest and controlled feeling in combination with lactate threshold intervals at 65-66 sec/ 400m. Kiptum ran 15 x 1000m LT -intervals at just that 65-66 sec / 400m !

2 mile warm up.
3X 800m at 85% effort with 2 minutes rest.
3X 400m at 85% effort with 2 minutes rest.

I did this and one 24x400 during my last marathon cycle. It's exhausting but you do feel like a badazz afterwords. Of course, i wasn't close to 60-61 sec ?.
At what relative pace and recovery?
mile (Daniels' rep) pace?
interval (Daniels' Interval) pace?
Hard long runs.

I think it was alternating paces: 12 x (400@3k pace, 45 sec rest, 400@10k, 90 sec rest). This was supposed to be a hill workout, but since i have scant access to hills around here i just upped the pace. And yes, i know it's not the same thing ?
The Michigan

Maybe those recoveries are other way round....
Actually i see you were doing sets at 3k and 10k.. my bad then
Bu then again do you really need 90" after every two 400..... you can 20x400m at 3k pace all with 45" jog (100m). people do....
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
